Hello again,
If you have come this far it means you chose to come in, thanks and welcome again. Lakeshore Evangelical is a group of people much like you, me, and your friends, (some of them may even attend here). We get together at various places, times and types of gatherings to learn more about faith in God. If you ‘click’ around the site you will see what is offered, when and why; from there it is your call. We encourage you to visit anytime you want for whatever gathering you want. We just ask one thing; be ready to meet people like you, who work, shop, play, study and live in your neighborhood. So click around and remember – it’s free to talk to us anyway you want.
Who are we?
Lakeshore Evangelical is one of over 1100 churches affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. You can find out more about the PAOC at www.paoc.org
What we are trying to do:
Encourage people to love God with all their heart, mind, soul and strength and their neighbor as themselves.
We believe…
We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired, infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in the persons of the Holy Trinity
We believe in the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, His sinless life, that He died for human kind, His resurrection and His coming back.
We believe in salvation by grace through faith.
We believe in living God honoring lives and that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is for today – demonstrated fully in the gifts of the Spirit.
We believe that Christ is the Head of the Church
We observe two sacraments: the Lord’s Supper, (also known as Holy Communion, Eucharist, or the Last Supper), and Baptism by immersion.
