For those of you who don’t know me, my name is David Ritz, and we run a harm reduction network called the Red Frog Support Network. We have an exciting opportunity for you!
We’ve been serving at McGill’s downtown campus for 11 years. There’s always been something in the back of my mind: “Gee, wouldn’t it be great if one day we could serve at the Macdonald Campus?”
Well, potentially, that day has arrived!
The Macdonald Campus has reached out to us to ask if we could provide support for Halloween, which is coming up in a couple of weeks, as well as for an event at the end of November.
This would be a wonderful opportunity, and we would love to see as many West Islanders as possible come out and get involved. We’re looking for a team of approximately six to eight volunteers to serve on those nights.
Our hope is that this could eventually lead to a permanent team at the Macdonald Campus, serving whenever events take place. It would be an opportunity to show up, serve, and demonstrate God’s love to the students.
We would love to see this partnership with Lakeshore Church grow by involving some of you in these volunteer opportunities at the Macdonald Campus.
Thank you very much. God bless you!
